TOTP: When was your first kiss and who was it with?
Simon: My first kiss was with a girl called Natalie. We dropped these pencils. It was all of us together,
like four guys and four girls. The teacher was writing on the blackboard and we dropped our pencils at the same time,
went under the table and went mwua! Came back up.

TOTP: What, no snogging?
Simon: No man, me? I didn't even want a kiss.

TOTP: Do you ever see her anymore? Would she still recognise you?
Simon: Yeah, cos we went to junior school and secondary school together.

TOTP: If she reads this and has a boyfriend, do you think she'll say something?
Simon: Probably not. I hope she does!

TOTP: What's the worst kiss you've ever had?
Simon: Mentioning no names... She was too forceful.

TOTP: Do you keep your eyes open or shut when you kiss?
Simon: Errr, I close 'em.

TOTP: Did you ever go into the tunnels on a first date?
Simon: Never tongues. Just a kiss on a cheek.

TOTP: But if she slips her tongue in, would you?
Simon: If she's like that then I would be, but it's fifty-fifty.

TOTP: What's the worst getting caught scenario you remember?
Simon: What kissing and getting caught? Probably my mother. In a park because we were behind a tree.

TOTP: What? kissing your mother?
Simon: Nooo. Caught by my mother, it was like "Mum??!!"

TOTP: How old were you then?
Simon: About twelve.

TOTP: Have you ever heard any silly urban myths about kissing, like that you can get pregnant or anything?
Simon: I used to think that. Yeah. I think my uncle or my cousins told me that.
I think just winding me up, but I'm so gullible sometimes.

TOTP: How old were you when you realized it wasn't true?
Simon: I dunno. I think when I was nine. When I was nine innit?
She never got pregnant. "You're not having a baby are ya"?

TOTP: And have you ever kissed a fan?
Simon: Not that I know of. Maybe, but they haven't said that they were a fan.
Or someone that likes my music I suppose could be a fan ...I suppose?

TOTP: But you've never found out they had your posters on the walls or anything like that?
Simon: Naaa, nothing like that. I've had sisters, like their sisters have had posters in their rooms.

TOTP: .You've been drinking fizzy pop and you're about to lunge at your beloved,
but you realize you're about to belch. What do you do?
Simon: Naaa, I'd be like "Excuse me" (gently burps under breath as he thumps his chest). Depends who it was.
If I knew her, then she's got to see ME. But if it's a first date then I'd swallow it.

TOTP: But after a while you're quite happy with farting, belching, etc.?
Simon: Yeah, I wanna get to know her you know what I mean? You've got to let your hair down if you've got any.

TOTP: You're off to meet your date, but you've eaten several cloves of garlic beforehand, what do you do?
Simon: Make sure you don't have any garlic.

TOTP: Imagine you're wearing braces, and she's wearing braces too, things could get sticky couldn't they?
Simon: Well, if we get stuck together, you've just gotta live with it innit?

TOTP: There could be worse things to be stuck to. Okay, next, you really like the person you've just snogged,
but they kiss like a wet fish, actually they kiss like a washing machine. Do you break it to them and what do you say?
Simon: I wouldn't say anything because obviously I wouldn't wanna hurt their feelings. But if you do like them then you'd try...

TOTP: But you could be doing a favour to any other guys who snog her in future?
Simon: Yeah, well like I say, you take your time. Later you're like, "can we try it this way?"
